HISTORY OF
THE FIRST JAMAICA
ZEN-DO KAI KAN
KARATE ORGANIZATION

Zen-Do Kai Kan
Organization
Philosophy of the Organization
...was founded by trained Martial Arts practitioners, with a combined experience of over one hundred years. Each founding member is represented by one side of our patch which has eight sides. This demonstrates that although each member is unique, the organization is interdependent on each to persue our fundamental principles - love, respect, honesty and sincerity. Our main objective is to convert a part of the Japanese culture (the Martial Arts discipline) to improve our way of life in Jamaica. This objective is attained by not only teaching self-defense but teaching self-discipline and respect. This training will be projected to others and the Jamaican community at large.
